Stretching from Ostrava to the Jeseníky mountain range is a long line of fortifications that once faced Germany. Now it lays mostly abandoned except for few found near the city of Hlučín. We will travel there by bus and see these upkept bunkers at close and see the inside of one with an English guide. You’ll get an explanation why and how were these bunkers build and how life in them worked before they were abandoned shortly before the second world war.
A MUST trip for anyone interested in military or czech history or in love with concrete.
Its a rather small trip that will only take about 3-4 hours.
The price includes the bus tickets.
